I have been reading Freidmans The World is Flat and realized that I am living in the world he describes. Think about this for a moment -- I live in Odenville, AL, a place no one has heard of -- we do have two stop lights so we are moving up in the world. The person who handles my , email communications and church database lives in Utah. I am going to school in South Africa. My peer learning group members are in Mexico and Texas. I am recieving Urban Strategist training from Dallas and I am currently opening relationships with churches in Madrid, Spain.

The interconnectiveness of the wired world has opened amazing opportunites -- I wonder if the church will take advantage of them?
